Continuing South Seeking Warmth

We continued our travels south, planning on heading to one of our favorite restaurants, Sunbury Crab Company. On our way down we stopped at another Harvest Host-Broadslab Distillery-in Benson, NC. TJ enthusiastically greeted us and we finally enjoyed warm weather and one of many beautiful sunsets.

We also took the first of many diversions to meet up with more of our looper friends who were in Beaufort, South Carolina. They are meandering south, destination the Florida Keys for the winter. We visited for a few days, took in the golf cart Christmas Parade and had a few good meals together while catching up with our recent adventures. Linda was the best baker on the loop and she continued to prove this by presenting us with a huge batch of the most delicious macaroons! The Harvest Host here in Beaufort was quite unique, a drive in movie theater! We enjoyed How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Wicked for Good (much better than part 1 of Wicked).
