Left New Haven on a Friday morning. Wildfires in Canada added to the limited visibility today.  Heading to Manhasset Bay. Hoping to anchor up for the first time on this trip. The fog is expected to clear later this morning and be in the 80s for the first time this trip.  

We ended up staying on a free morning in Manhasset Bay. Took a round-trip water taxi into town. Small downtown although there are a few stops on the water taxi along the way that will take you to the West Marine and the grocery store. Heading to half Moon Bay Marina tomorrow to stay for three days and hoping that the smoke from the fires clear up so we can see the New York City skyline, and of course Lady Liberty, from the water.
