We are continuing up the Mohawk River attempting to get to lock 14 today.  Our plan was to dock and stay overnight at Canajoharie. Unfortunately the floating free dock and small town marina were no where to be found.  Seems there was some flooding and the dock washed away, never to be replaced.  Our trip today was a long 8 hours, seven locks in all.  Something we would rather not repeat.  Moved on to stay at St Johnsville Municipal Marina.  We were thankfully able to secure the last available spot on the wall as showers and thunderstorms began shortly after we arrived.  As heavy rainfall is expected for tomorrow as well we have decided to stay here two nights.  Nice small village with some restaurants and a few stores to shore up our provisions.
