Headed out late this morning as Oswego is not a far ride, although it includes going through 7 locks.  Luckily we are now locking "down" which is a much easier ride than going up!

Oswego is a fairly large city on the banks of Lake Ontario.  Our original plan was to stay one overnight at Oswego Marina and onto Kingston and the Thousand Islands area, our first stop in Canada.  The weather was not with us and we decided to stay for a few days. Met some new looper friends and taking a day to go out on a fishing charter.  The locals have been catching salmon by the cooler full for the past few days and couldn't resist going out for a day on the lake.

It was a productive day fishing on Day 28.  Went out on "Top Gun" a charter boat here in the marina.  Our new friends Denny and Diane joined us.  Very productive day catching King Salmon and Coho Salmon.  We will be eating fish for some time to come.

Day 26 Heading to Oswego (actually 26-28)
