Initially we thought we would remain in Kingston for another day due to the weather. At around 7 a.m. decided that it looked good to travel. Today was a short day, a mere 3 hours to Prinyer's Cove Marina. This is a hidden gem in this part of Lake Ontario. This is a small, family run marina. The docks were well maintained and it included a small house with all of the amenities one would need, with the exception of a grocer nearby. The weather ended up being a mix of sun and clouds, with a few stray showers sprinkled in from time to time. Met up with Rod and Marylou of the "Sea Gal" and spending the night dockside with dinner and some conversation of Georgian Bay, their home port.
If you look closely at the first picture here you may be able to see that the "leaves" on the trees are not leaves but cormorants. This bird has no natural predators in this area and have been known to destroy entire islands. This island appears to be next on their list.
