(OK, it ended up being days 57-60!) Still haven't discovered how to control the weather. Something I can focus on during my retirement!
Traveled with "Jagger" today heading to Parry Sound. Looking forward to sitting on the beach and swimming in these crystal clear waters. We spent our day walking around town and seeing the sights. There is a great deal to do here including boat tours, float plane rides, beaches, and plenty of hiking trails.
Initially planned for one overnight with plans to anchor out for a few days before heading up to Byng Inlet. Unfortunately the weather looks to be windy and rainy for the next few days and decided to remain at Big Sound Marina rather than anchor out. We will try to be underway again on Saturday.
We spent the second day walking the trails in the area and exploring the beaches. We chose to walk to Old Town Beach had lunch and took swim. The water was clean and cool, but not the toe numbing cold that I expected.

Since we had internet and a few days of down time we took some time to plan our return to the states. As there are over 200 boaters completing the loop this year, it may be impossible to find a slip near Chicago if we wait much longer. Although it is difficult to guess when we will be there, it is better to have a slip than to be without. Of course we also enjoyed docktails, lunch out and board games with Susan & Chuck from "Jagger". There is always something to do even in the driving rain!
