We left late this morning so we could travel with Scott & Starlet.  Hoping to make Byng Inlet by midday.  As we entered the outside route we were met with only 1’ waves today.  Much improved over yesterday and glad we made the decision to stay another day in Hopewell Bay.

Our plan was to tie up to the town dock in Byng.  Unfortunately the “looper book” was again wrong, as the town docks were condemned a few years back.  We ended up staying at St. Amant’s which had a wonderful general store that included a well stocked grocery.  Tomorrow we will be heading to Collins Inlet for another night of anchoring out until heading into the North Channel.
