This was a pleasant hike through a shady area following a spring fed stream that leads to the Jordan River. We spent a few hours here hiking the trail and surprised to find the tree that inspired Winnie the Pooh! After spending the day here we were treated to a surprise lunch-at a local burger joint.
Following lunch we continued north again with a visit to Haifa, Orly’s hometown, and had a brief visit with her sister Hila. Here we parted ways with Orly and Gal who returned to Tel Aviv to get ready for our trip to Santorini. Dan, Adam and I remained in Haifa for the evening with the expectation of visiting the Bahai Gardens in the morning, staying at the Colony Hotel in Haifa.
