We had a beautiful day to make the long trek to DeTour today.  Lake Huron was flat calm all day with temps in the mid 60's.  As we entered the larger part of the bay we noticed several "loopers" traveling with us.  We met up with "Faith" aka the baker, "Shore Billy" and "Journey" as well as a few new loopers.

After docktails, organized by Aubrey, several of us moved on to dinner at the only "restaurant" that was open tonight.  It reminded me of the American Legion clubs back home, complete with pool table and paneling.

As this is our first stop back in the United States we needed to go through customs before leaving the boat.  The process should be fairly simple, although not for us.  We downloaded the app and put in all of our information, passports, boat name, etc. and watched the never ending circle waiting for approval.  After a few hours we decided to move on to dinner and deal with it in the morning. Much to our surprise we were denied entry.  After several calls with multiple agents, some not so pleasant, we finally reached an agent that identified the problem.  In order to be processed we needed to be connected to wifi, cellular data would not work!  Finally were allowed to enter on the second day in DeTour.

Our trip today.  Thank goodness another short one.
