Today was the type of day you wish for when on the lake. It was a flat calm day across Lake Huron to Saint Ignace. We did encounter some fishing nets, which are not always marked early on during the trip. They are difficult to see and not all of them show up on the Navionics charts. I spent a great deal of time behind the binoculars today scanning our route for nets. I guess this is something we will need to be aware of while traveling along the shores of Lake Michigan as well. On our trip we passed under the Mackinac City bridge. Quite a sight and at almost 5 miles long, one of the longest suspension bridges in the world.

Our trip today. Short and sweet.
