On Friday, we took a long walk around town. Found a lovely cheese shop and enjoyed another day of beautiful weather. Although we’ve had rain now and again, overall, the weather has been warm, sunny and beautiful cooling down to the mid 60s in the evening. As we would be staying here for a few days, I made an effort to make some spaghetti sauce in the instant pot. This was an all day affair, exploring the different settings that this tiny machine has. Not a failure, but not my best sauce. We invited Wayne from "Sanctuary" over for dinner and conversation, while discussing all of the factors coming into moving the following day. After taking into consideration all of the factors, including the all day rain predicted all day, we decided to stay one more day.
On Saturday we had a very low-key day. Worked on planning our next several days from here at Peterborough to Georgian Bay. This entails using 2 to 3 apps, a few websites, three different books, maps of the locks, in addition to maps of the areas surrounding our potential destinations. Choosing, where to stay is quite a chore!
