While on our way home we decided to take a side trip to visit our friends Scott & Starlet in Kentucky. It was a nice relaxing week hanging with friends who we began our trip with in South Carolina back in December.

Starlet and Scott were great hosts taking us on a visit to Red River Gorge , the “Grand Canyon“ of Kentucky. Starlet took us the long way around through the Nada Tunnel. A bit unsettling for me, over several long skinny, curvy roads, but a unique experience. We are looking forward for a visit from them to New England where we can show them our covered bridges.

During our stay we also helped out with a few chores that were in need. Spring is coming and Starlet needed some help with some maintenance on their carport and clearing an area to get ready for planting a garden. It was good to be useful and productive.
