We left early this morning via Uber to our hotel near the navy pier in Chicago. Headed out on a river architectural tour on a beautiful sunny morning. Very interesting and highly recommended as we will be bypassing this part of the city when we’re heading down the river system.  Spent the remainder of the day exploring the Navy Pier, the Riverwalk, and watching the Pats lose. Had an early dinner and sleeping in a real bed tonight. More to see you tomorrow!

We started out early on Monday morning and spent some time seeing the sites via the "Hop on hop off" bus tour as it was predicted to be a rainy day.  Chicago was a vibrant, clean city with several attractions.  After riding through the city we stopped to see some of the site including the Art Institute of Chicago.  In the even9ng we met up with Ali and Keith and had dinner and a show at Andie's Jazz Club and ended our evening with a stroll on the river walk.  Heading home tomorrow and will be resuming the trip down the river in a few weeks.  Stay tuned!
