Had a bit of a hiccup flying out due to rainy weather. Spent our days visiting friends and family, getting the houses ready for winter and putting to bed all-well most- of my flower gardens. We were informed that due to the lock closures the Army Corp of Engineers has asked us all to wait for some of the commercial traffic to clear the locks before we begin the next leg of our journey. No worries as this will give us more time to visit with new friends on the docks and ready the boat for travel.
A big thank you to our family and friends that welcomed us back, fed us, helped with rides and a place to sleep. We wish you all well and we will miss you! Received good news from our boating friends Dave and Kathy that the tug is still floating and my basil plant has lived through my absence.
