Merry Christmas!

Finally in South Florida and getting ready to celebrate Christmas with family. (Started this blog late so please scroll back if you would like to see our trip to Israel and Greece earlier this year and our trip down to Florida).

Nick and Mabel surprised us early with a visit to see us at Topeekeegee Yugnee State Park in Hollywood. We stayed here for a few days and then moved to Yacht Haven Park & Marina, pretty much a glamping spot in south Florida. We spent a day on the water as Nick planned a day of fishing for us Christmas Eve. Nice day catching the Florida equivalent of scup, but as always, fishing and boating are fun.

Planning Christmas dinner was a bit of a challenge but keeping it simple made all the difference. On the menu lasagna, baked ham, squash and potatoes. Thank goodness the refrigerator in the RV is three times the size of the one we had on the boat!

Took some time to visit Arturo and Scott at the open house for their new condo. Wishing them the best as they settle into their new surroundings. Of course the food was amazing-part food, part artwork. Wish I had Arturo's talent for presentation!

Our trip Fort Pierce to Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale.
